曹斐 (Cao Fei)

曹斐 (Cao Fei、ツァオ・フェイ)
1978年広東省 (广东省、廣東省、カントン/コワントンしょう、Guǎngdōng Shěng、Guangdong) の省都である広州市 (广州市、廣州市、コワンチョウ、こうしゅうし、Guǎngzhōu、Guangzhou) 生まれ。
曹斐 (Cao Fei、ツァオ・フェイ) の作品は、前回の中国特集のとき情報の仮まとめをした段階で放置してから見返したことがなかったので、今回の特集で2年ぶりに見たのだけど、やっぱり初期の 『聖闘士星矢』 の聖衣もどきを装着したコスプレイヤー (Cosplayers) の擬似ドラマを撮った "COSPlayers Series" が面白い。今回ポストした作品の1枚目がそのシリーズからのものになる。

曹斐 (Cao Fei、ツァオ・フェイ) は、iCommons.org - Art Intercom でのインタビュの冒頭で次のように発言している。

Cao Fei: From the beginning I had the idea to make a documentary film in Second Life. I didn’t want to make a story…use a script or make the second film like Hollywood. People often write script and use building, use their avators for actors - I wanted to do more. I want to mix documentary, and drama – so docu-drama.
