April Behnke

April Behnke (エイプリル・ベンケ)
1984年ボストン(Boston)生まれのアーティスト。
現在はワシントンDC(Washington, DC)在住。

日本のアニメの影響とは別方向から触手的なものにエロを感じたんじゃないか。
軟体動物的な奇妙でエロティックで淡い作品を描いている。
新潮文庫のジャン・ジュネの作品などの表紙イラストを手がけていた村上芳正を思い出した。
