David Drebin

David Drebin (デヴィッド・ドレビン)
1970年生まれ。
カナダのトロント出身。

1996年にニューヨークのパーソンズ・スクール・オブ・デザイン (Parsons The New School for Design) を卒業し、以来同地を拠点に活動している。
広告写真の世界で成功し、ロサンゼルスとベルリンで展示会を開催。
2007年5月に最初のモノグラフ "Love and Other Stories" が出版された。
以下は多分その時発表されたステートメント。

"Some type of emotional response when looking at my photographs would be ideal... for me the most gripping photographs are either funny and sexy, sexy and sad or sexy and funny without being sad".

リチャード・アヴェドン (Richard Avedon) の大ファンだそうだ。
