模擬死体百景シリーズその5は、陽のあたる原っぱや雑木林が事件の現場である。被害者はいずれも若い女性。争った痕跡がないことから顔見知りの犯行が濃厚の可能性が高い。凶器を使用した痕はみられず、被害者の体内から毒物反応が出た。犯行時刻は午後11時前後とみられる。
